OVERVIEW - IWCF LEVEL 2 WELL INTERVENTION

The aim of the IWCF Well Intervention level 2 course is to develop the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of well intervention pressure control at the introductory level.

The IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control Level 2 course is designed for candidates working in job roles which may directly contribute to the detection or control of a well influx. Level 2 certification is recommended for those working in roles such as Assistant Operators in Coiled Tubing, Wireline/Slickline or Snubbing Operations, and others with a requirement to hold an IWCF certificate.

 

Course Eligibility

Prior Certification is not required.

 

Course Delivery

IWCF Level 2 Well intervention course at RIG GAIN is an interactive training, delivered through live lectures, videos, case studies, demonstrations, class & group discussions, classroom workbook, self-study exercises, & skill assessment.

 

Training Duration

3 Days , Course Start as per schedule.

Examination on 4th day.

Wireline/ Slickline wellsite supervisor, crew chief/ lead engineer (Non Pressure Operations).
MPD/UBD services Wellsite Supervisor.
Coiled tubing & intervention services Wellsite Supervisor (Non Pressure Operations).
Wellsite Casing-Crew Supervisor.
Directional Driller.
Fishing Engineer/ Fishing tool Operator (Non Pressure Operations).
