IWCF LEVEL 2 CERTIFICATION

Course Duration : 4 Days.

Certification Validity : 5 years.

Candidates can select “Surface BOP stack only” or “Combined Surface & Subsea” BOP stack certification.

IWCF Level 2 Drilling certification consists of an Online assessment (Exam)

  1. Online Assessment. (Exam on 4th Day of Training)

Note - No Simulator assessment for IWCF Level 2 Drilling Well Control Training.

  • Each candidate is required to complete online assessment which include multiple choice questions, Volume calculations, Kill Sheet calculations, and Equipment Sections.

  • Assessments are made up of multiple choice problem questions to check your skill and knowledge.

Online Assessment Consist of 2 Modules

 

For Surface Stack

  1. Surface Principles and Procedures: 1 hr 10 minutes (Exam)

  2. Surface Equipment: 1 hr 10 minutes (Exam)

 

For Combined Surface & Subsea Stack

  1. Combined Surface and Subsea Principles and Procedures: 1 hrs 45 minutes (Exam)

  2. Combined Surface & Subsea Equipment: 1 hr 10 minutes (Exam)

 

Certification ( Pass IWCF examination)

Candidate must achieve a minimum score of 70% in all IWCF practical and written assessments. Level 2 certificates are valid for 5 years.

 

IWCF Resit Criteria (Re-Exam)

RESIT available at 150 $ (USD)*

Candidate must pass in at-least 1 online module to be eligible for a resit.

If a candidate scores between 66% and 69% in their assessment, they will qualify for a resit (Retest) within 90 days of the initial test date.  

If a candidate scores 65% or below in their assessment, they will need to attend further training with an instructor and return within 90 days of the initial test date to re–sit their assessment.
